Arizona Sod Watering and Maintenance

Although many people think that grass lawns require huge amounts of water, the maintenance schedule actually calls for less water than you might imagine. The goal is to establish deep roots to create a heartier and more drought tolerant turfgrass. While newly installed Arizona sod does require twice daily watering, after just a few weeks, established lawns require only one watering per day and may go 3-10 days between watering in the cool season.
